We always carry along questions of audience, in our mind and hearts…Who will laugh along? Who will shake their head? Who might say my name in three syllables, “Mon-I-ca!” (There’s always and forever a cultural hierarchy of comedy—evolving or not—around who is allowed to tell what jokes, where and when….and these systems are micro and macro, in families, workplaces, and the world…)
How do I want or choose to position my words, or fuel my words, in relation to this possible response?

Out of context this looks like a rather incriminating photo from a crime scene. Tip: if you’re gonna leave a name as a calling card, make one up. Or, at the very least, add “the ripper” in place of the surname or something along those lines. “The tooth ripper” in this instance, I guess.
